Entertainment Center
This entertainment center is made of oak plywood, faced with solid red oak featuring shop made molding, all stained with Min-wax Provincial and top-coated in polyurethane. It is one of my many custom designed pieces. I sized everything to fit my particular components and the drawers are sized to fit the large Disney sized vhs tape boxes. Between the drawers is a door covered cupboard sized to just fit my small collection of record lp's. The top and base moldings are of my own design adapted to what has been used for years by other craftsmen. Just my proportions are maybe different or unique. The basic cove and bead has been historically used in many ways by many different craftsmen.The following picture shows a close up of the base.

The
drawers are made with dovetail construction. Drawer slides are the same as
the ones I used in my workdesk. Click here to view
more information on the slides.This Picture shows the side view of a drawer.
I used a Porter-Cable Dovetail Machine to make the dovetails. The Drawer sides
are Baltic Birch plywood.
